Lucy Branch is accredited by The Institute of Conservation and has a Masters in Conservation from The Royal College of Art and The Victoria and Albert Museum.
She is one of the company’s directors and specialises in the conservation and restoration of sculptural and architectural bronze and contemporary materials. She has worked on high-profile projects including Eros and The Queen Victoria Memorial and with clients such as St Johns College, Cambridge and Historic Royal Palaces. She has lead the conservation on some of Britain’s best known contemporary sculpture including Ron Arad’s The Big Blue, Marta Pan’s Fragments of Landscape and Wendy Taylor's CBE, The Conqueror.
Outside of her role in the company, she is an accreditation assessor for ICON and a CPD reader. She published her first novel, a thriller about metals, in 2015. Find out more at www.lucybranch.com
Iain McLean is a Director who has run many of the projects that Antique Bronze has become best known for.
These include the conservation of Nelson’s Column Bronzework including Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Bronzework, Cleopatra's Needle, The Albert Memorial and a variety of architectural projects such as Bush House, Victoria House and University of London Headquarters.
His particular interest and expertise lies in both sculpture conservation (Victorian public sculpture and War Memorials) as well as the repatination of historic architectural bronzework.
He also runs the on site BMA finishing projects, working closely with architects and other contractors to ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
